Police report, Tuesday June 22: Police Bite Back

A MAN has been charged after allegedly inciting a dog to bite police. About 12.25am on Saturday police were in Wainwright Lane, Kingswood, speaking to a person when they were allegedly approached by a Kingswood man, 33. He allegedly started abusing police before returning with a large tan pitbull. He allegedly encouraged the dog to bite police before retreating to his house. He was later charged with using offensive language in or near a public place, assaulting police in the execution of duty and urging a dog to attack.
