Four Dogs Poisoned in Reidsville, Award Offered

From My FOX 8

For the second time in as many weeks a family has come home to find their pet dogs apparently poisoned.

In August, a couple from Stokesdale lost three pit bulls believed to have been poisoned. And now a family from Reidsville are the apparent victims of dog poisoning and they're offering a cash reward to find out who did it.

"It's a tough situation that really needs to be worked on and I'm just trying to do what we can here to help that," said dog owner Tommy Adkins.

Adkins is offering a $1,000 reward with anyone with information concerning the poisoning of his four dogs.

Adkins has done a thorough search of his property and hasn't found any poison.

"Someone had to poison them," said Adkins, who finds homes for stray dogs.

Anyone with information concerning this case are urged to call the Rockingham County Sherriff's office at (336) 634-3235.
