Bronxville Police: Info Sought on Owner of Dog That Bit a Child

The dog bit an 8-year-old near the Bronxville school, according to an eAlert issued by police

Bronxville police are currently looking to find the owner of a dog that bit an 8-year-old near the Bronxville School on September 30, according to an eAlert sent by Chief Christopher Satriale on Monday afternoon.
"Without properly identifying the owner and dog, the eight-year-old child will have to be given the rabies vaccine," Satriale wrote in the release.
The alert states that that the incident occurred at 3 p.m. on Meadow Avenue and describes the dog as "a small black pit bull-type." The alert also says that a woman of Asian descent was walking the dog.
