Dogs removed from a home

By Sarah Schuch, The Flint Journal

Flushing Township police officers looked into an ordinance violation for barking dogs on Oct. 7 and found four dogs without water, food or shelter.
The dogs, a Saint Bernard and three pit bulls, were in poor condition and removed by Genesee County Animal Control from the home on N. McKinley Road near West Stanley Road.
One of the pit bulls was euthanized because he was in such poor condition. The dogs’ owner, a 23-year-old Flushing Township man, received four citations for animal cruelty.
