Omaha May Ease Animal Restrictions

From KETV

Pit Bull Puppies May Not Need Muzzles, Restraints

Omaha could soon loosen the leash on its pit bull owners.
The Omaha City Council plans to discuss possible changes to its pet rules, including the idea of eliminating requirements for harnesses and muzzles on pit bull puppies.
Another plan would reduce the fee that owners would have to pay in order to get their impounded animals back.
City leaders said the Nebraska Humane Society is on board with the new proposals.
