Pit bull seen hanging around strip club

From Republican American

Police receive many calls about curious pooch at Mr. Happy's

Police received 10 complaints about a loose pit bull hanging out near Mr. Happy's strip club on Homer Street Thursday afternoon.

A police officer tried to catch the dog, but it ran away and escaped, police confirmed. At 4:30 p.m., it was reportedly seen at the Stop and Shop plaza on Chase Avenue.

The curious dog never managed to enter Mr. Happy's, police said, nor did it display any aggressive behavior. As of Thursday afternoon, it remained on the lam. Pit bull mixes are the most common breed of dog at municipal pounds because they're frequently abandoned, animal control officers say.
