Pitbulls to be euthanized after dog attack

By Wendy McLeod, AM 1150 Newscentre

The fate of two pitbulls that attacked a dog in West Kelowna has been decided.
The owner has voluntarily agreed to euthanize the animals.  He was also given a $100 dollar fine for having more than 2 dogs and could face more fines for not having them licensed.
The third pitbull, which was less involved in the attack, has been deemed agressive and returned to its original owner.
The attack happened last week when the 3 pitbulls jumped an older lab cross who suffered bite marks and scratches.
