Suffolk man accused of setting dog on fire

By Terry Alexander, from WAFB

A Virginia man is on the run, accused of setting a dog on fire!
Police in Suffolk are looking for Lashawn Harper. He allegedly poured gasoline on his brother's one-year-old pit bull and set it on fire - all of this because the two fought over a pair of sneakers.
The dog was able to roll itself in the grass to extinguish the fire...it has burns on its face, neck and chest but is expected to be okay.
Harper hasn't been seen since.
