Palmerton man threatens to sic pit bulls on woman, police say

By Frank Warner, The Morning Call

A Palmerton man told a woman whose dog had been attacked by his two pit bull dogs Sunday to shut up or he'd let the pit bulls attack her, police said.
Richard Marsteller, 46, was charged with harassment against Dana Horning, 30, of Aquashicola.
Horning was walking her dog through Marsteller's Little Gap Road neighborhood at 8:30 p.m. when his pit bulls slipped outside and chased her dog, state police at Lehighton said.
Horning yelled for help, but when Marsteller showed up he told Horning to be quiet or the dogs could go after her, too, police said. Police said neither Horning nor her dog were injured.
