Dog stolen from Sikeston Humane Society

By Christy Hendricks, from KFVS

The Sikeston Humane Society is looking for a stolen dog.
A female pit bull named Lexxi was stolen from an outside holding pen when someone kicked in the lock at the humane society Monday night, according to Linsey Smith with the Sikeston Human Society.
The pit bull is described as a reddish/brown pit bull.
Smith says a police report has been filed.
The dog was picked up by the city a few months ago and the owner never came forward.
Call the Sikeston Human Society at 573-471-4801 if you have any information.
