Woman charged with staving pit bull to death

From Mid-Hudson News

A Monticello woman must appear in village court this month to face animal cruelty charges after she allegedly left an eight-month-old pit bull puppy in a basement since early April without food or water.
Monticello Village Police had gone to 107 Waverly Avenue on another investigation and found the emaciated and decaying carcass of the puppy, owned by Kristen Sisco, 25, in the basement.
Sisco was charged with felony aggravated cruelty to an animal.
