Police still investigating shots fired on East Second Street

From The Chillicothe Gazette

Police are still looking for information about who fired shots late Friday on East Second Street.
Chillicothe police officers responded to the 300 block of East Second Street after receiving a report three area residents reported hearing gunfire between 10:25 and 10:37 p.m.
One resident reported seeing an unknown man fire a handgun at a black Chrysler Sebring parked in front of 342 E. Second St., according to the incident report. He said the man then ran east, and the Sebring fled the area.
Another complainant found three shell casings in front of his apartment, which he gave to police.
Officers set up a perimeter around 376 E. Second St. where the suspect was believed to be and were charged by two pit bulls, according to the report.
An officer fired at one of the dogs, and it ran away. The other dog continued to growl but retreated.
Once inside the home, police found no one inside. Officers also did not find anyone who had been injured as a result of the fired shots.
